Mobile detailing at your home: what to have ready when we arrive

Mobile detailing means we come to you, in the Valley, Thousand Oaks or Simi Valley. Here is what makes the visit go smoothly, and the few things we need from your side.

Parking

A driveway is ideal. Street parking works if there is room to open every door fully and walk right around the car. In summer, a spot with some shade helps: products dry too fast on a hot panel, and we work faster and better out of the direct sun.

You do not have to stand there for three hours. Hand over the keys, tell us where the tap is, and get on with your day.

Water and power

We bring our own water tank and can run without a hookup, but a standard garden hose spigot lets us work faster on a big job. An outdoor power outlet within reach of the car runs the vacuum and the steam cleaner. If you have neither, tell us when you book and we plan around it.

Before we arrive

• Take out personal items and valuables. Glove box and center console included. We are not responsible for items left in the car.
• Remove child seats if you want the seat underneath cleaned. We do not refit child seats; installing them correctly is your call.
• Tell us about anything fragile. Loose trim, aftermarket tint, a ceramic coating, a wrap, a cracked screen. We adjust the method.

How long it takes

• Pristine Exterior: 1 to 1.5 hours
• Pristine Interior: 1.5 to 2 hours
• Full Detail: 2.5 to 3.5 hours
• Platinum Exterior: 2 to 3 hours
• Platinum Interior: 2 to 2.5 hours
• Platinum Clean: 3.5 to 5.5 hours

Apartments, condos and offices

Check whether your building or HOA allows car washing on site. Plenty in the Valley do, some do not, and a few have a designated wash bay. If washing is not allowed at your building, we can meet you at a friend's driveway or your workplace lot.

Paying

We confirm the final price before we start and you pay when the car is done, by whatever we agreed at booking. We appreciate 24 hours notice if you need to move the appointment, and rain moves it for free.
