How much does mobile car detailing cost in the San Fernando Valley?

The prices
Every package is priced by vehicle size. Small sedan, small SUV or truck, large SUV or truck. That is the whole price list.

Add-ons sit on top of any package: black trim restore $25 to $35, steam and shampoo for carpets and mats $40 to $50, clay bar $60 to $80. The Platinum packages include them.
What can push the price up
Three things, and we tell you before we start every time.
- Heavy pet hair. Dog hair woven into carpet takes a long time to lift. A car with a light coat of it is fine. A car that has carried a husky all summer is extra.
- Excessive dirt. Spilled drinks that dried in, sand from the beach in every seam, mud in the wheel wells. The packages assume a normal used car.
- Travel distance. We work from the Valley. Sherman Oaks, Encino, Studio City, Northridge and Chatsworth are home turf. Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley and Calabasas we cover often. Further out, we quote a travel fee by the mile before you book.
What you get for the money
Time, mostly. A Full Detail on a sedan takes two and a half to three and a half hours of one person working on one car. A Platinum Clean can run past five. We bring the water tank, power, the foam cannon, the steam cleaner and the products. You give us a driveway and a parking spot.
A shop charges about the same, then adds the drive there, the wait, and the drive back. Ours happens while you work from home.
Which one to book
- Car gets washed regularly, needs a good clean inside and out: Full Detail.
- Only the outside needs help, paint feels rough: Platinum Exterior.
- Stains, smells or a dog: Platinum Interior.
- Selling it, or it has been years: Platinum Clean.
Booking two Pristine packages separately costs more than the Full Detail that combines them ($165 against $135 on a sedan), so if you want both sides done, book the Full Detail.
