What Calabasas does to a car
- Canyon dust and road grime. Driving Las Virgenes or Malibu Canyon puts a fine abrasive film on the lower panels and a tar speckle along the rockers that a normal wash leaves behind. That is clay bar work.
- Sun with no shade. The newer developments have young trees and wide streets, so cars sit in full sun. Trim fade here is noticeably worse than in the tree lined south Valley.
- Garaged cars that still need work. A lot of Calabasas cars live in garages and come out looking clean, but garage dust plus a few canyon runs still leaves bonded contamination on the paint.
